30" Maple Neck for JZ-6 DIY Kit Rosewood Fretboard (Left-handed)

30" Maple Neck for JZ-6 DIY Kit Rosewood Fretboard (Left-handed)

SKU:JZ-6N-30-L

*Note – this is not a conversion neck! Bridge position must be adjusted if you want to add it to a guitar/bass or it will not intonate correctly!* This is a Maple Neck with Engineered Rosewood Fretboard suitable for scratch builds or existing projects only. This is a new item, photos to come! Not suitable for use with 24.75" scale or 25.5" scale Pit Bull guitar kits without serious modification. A bit of a challenge for a hard-tail, serious woodwork if you have a tremolo! Same principle if you want to shorten the scale of your bass from 34" – bridge position will need to move substantially.

Before you buy

These are raw, unfinished kits from a production factory, not flat-pack furniture. Expect to sand, fill and finish your instrument yourself, and expect the occasional scratch, dent or glue spot to deal with along the way. That is the craft, and it is why the result is worth playing.

Do a mock build before you sand or paint anything. We cannot accept returns on kits that have been part-assembled, painted or stained.

New to building? Start with an ST or TL kit, where much of the wiring is already done at the factory. We would not recommend a hollow body for a first build.

Build support

You are not on your own once the box arrives. Every kit is backed by our complete instruction manual, a quick start guide, wiring diagrams for more than fifty different kits, and step-by-step videos covering finishing, soldering, hardware, assembly and setup.
