250K Audio Taper, Split Shaft With Nut, Lock & Dress Washer. US thread and 24 spline. Dimensions - 6mm diameter split shaft. The threaded portion on the shaft is 9.5mm long. Total length of the shaft to the top of the spline is 18mm. Audio Taper Pots are generally used in both Volume and Tone Positions. Rule of thumb - 250K pots are generally used with single-coil pickups. 500k pots are generally used with humbuckers.

These are raw, unfinished kits from a production factory, not flat-pack furniture. Expect to sand, fill and finish your instrument yourself, and expect the occasional scratch, dent or glue spot to deal with along the way. That is the craft, and it is why the result is worth playing.

Do a mock build before you sand or paint anything. We cannot accept returns on kits that have been part-assembled, painted or stained.

New to building? Start with an ST or TL kit, where much of the wiring is already done at the factory. We would not recommend a hollow body for a first build.
