This pack contains everything you would find in one of our ES-1GT kits, except the actual body and neck, and it is all Chrome. It includes chrome pickups, bridge, switch, output jack, strap buttons, machine heads and screws. You also get a black pickguard, all the electronics and even a spare set of strings. Suitable for adding chrome hardware to one of our ES-1GT kits.

The ES-1GT Chrome Hardware Upgrade Kit Includes:
  • 2 Chrome Humbuckers with Black surrounds
  • 6 (3 a side) Chrome machine heads (with chrome inserts and screws)
  • Chrome Tune-O-Matic bridge with Trapeze tailpiece
  • Chrome output jack and 3 way switch
  • Chrome screws, strap holders and bridge posts
  • Black triple ply pickguard
  • "Speed" style Volume and Tone Controls

Before you buy

These are raw, unfinished kits from a production factory, not flat-pack furniture. Expect to sand, fill and finish your instrument yourself, and expect the occasional scratch, dent or glue spot to deal with along the way. That is the craft, and it is why the result is worth playing.

Do a mock build before you sand or paint anything. We cannot accept returns on kits that have been part-assembled, painted or stained.

New to building? Start with an ST or TL kit, where much of the wiring is already done at the factory. We would not recommend a hollow body for a first build.
