This kit contains everything you need to build a complete, playable guitar, except your choice of finish.

Before you buy

These are raw, unfinished kits from a production factory, not flat-pack furniture. Expect to sand, fill and finish your instrument yourself, and expect the occasional scratch, dent or glue spot to deal with along the way. That is the craft, and it is why the result is worth playing.

Do a mock build before you sand or paint anything. We cannot accept returns on kits that have been part-assembled, painted or stained.

New to building? Start with an ST or TL kit, where much of the wiring is already done at the factory. We would not recommend a hollow body for a first build.

Build support

You are not on your own once the box arrives. Every kit is backed by our complete instruction manual, a quick start guide, wiring diagrams for more than fifty different kits, and step-by-step videos covering finishing, soldering, hardware, assembly and setup.

Brilliant build. My first kit build from Pit-Bull guitars but definitely not the last!
Great support and instructions, really simple to build and play - Love it!

For an inexperienced kit-builder this is an ideal start. I have made many mistakes in its construction, but I have learnt from these, and the kit still functions and the Wudtone finish has made a reasonably priced kit hold its aesthetic own to other guitars in my collection.

Highly recommended.

Great straight forward kit. Quite easy to put together. Neck feels great, a little chunky for what i'm used to, but nothing extreme. My only issue was the nut was glued in incorrectly (easily fixed).
