Our custom spec pots designed in conjunction with CTS offer a superior audio quality to standard CTS pots on the market and were designed with a unique audio taper specifically for guitar and bass players offering greater control and accuracy. Each pot is hand measured to ensure the tolerances are within our stated 8%. Custom Audio Taper Manufactured with a lovely, smooth torque - not too loose, or too stiff, SSS Premium® CTS pots have no choking, drop offs or sudden surges when dialling the controls up or down. Accurate vintage taper - still nice and reactive for volume swells but a slightly wider range and more usable volume sweep. Specs:

Before you buy

These are raw, unfinished kits from a production factory, not flat-pack furniture. Expect to sand, fill and finish your instrument yourself, and expect the occasional scratch, dent or glue spot to deal with along the way. That is the craft, and it is why the result is worth playing.

Do a mock build before you sand or paint anything. We cannot accept returns on kits that have been part-assembled, painted or stained.

New to building? Start with an ST or TL kit, where much of the wiring is already done at the factory. We would not recommend a hollow body for a first build.

You are not on your own once the box arrives. Every kit is backed by our complete instruction manual, a quick start guide, wiring diagrams for more than fifty different kits, and step-by-step videos covering finishing, soldering, hardware, assembly and setup.
