Left Handed Set Rhythm, lead, chicken pickin' and slide never sounded better! Our Vintage Plus neck model offers warmth and clarity and enough punch for country, blues, pop and jazz applications. The neck pickup is wound with AWG42 gauge wire for a punchy, almost Strat®-like sound. The bridge uses aged magnets and is wound to retain the dynamic high-end that country players demand, and our new higher output wind gives plenty of low-end beef. Rolling back the volume and tone slightly create a wonderfully open tone for combined rhythm and chord work. Nickel-silver covers and a grounded copper plated baseplate adds to the tone and completes the look and feel.

Before you buy

These are raw, unfinished kits from a production factory, not flat-pack furniture. Expect to sand, fill and finish your instrument yourself, and expect the occasional scratch, dent or glue spot to deal with along the way. That is the craft, and it is why the result is worth playing.

Do a mock build before you sand or paint anything. We cannot accept returns on kits that have been part-assembled, painted or stained.

New to building? Start with an ST or TL kit, where much of the wiring is already done at the factory. We would not recommend a hollow body for a first build.
